Walmart Greener Good Contest
RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Agreement: These rules govern the "Walmart greener Good Essay Contest"
("Contest"). No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. The act of
entering the Contest constitutes acceptance of the contest rules and the
decisions of the Contest judge.

2. Sponsors: The Contest sponsors are Walmart and Simcoe.com, a property of
Metroland North Media, a Division of Metroland Media Group Ltd.

3. Eligibility: The Contest is open to all School Children in Simcoe County in grades K-8, except for employees, immediate families and anyone
living with any employee of the sponsors or its or their corporate
affiliates, advertising or promotional agencies.

4. Contest:  The contest is an essay on the topic “ What I or my Family is doing to help the environment”. The essay is to be not longer than 300 words. The 3 age groups for the contest are   K-3 ,  4-6 ,   7-8.  .

5. Prize.  There will be a first, second and third prize winner chosen in each age category .  The prizes of $150 (first) $100 (second) $50 (third) in the form of a WalMart gift card will be awarded on the basis of content, originality and essay style

6. Time. The contest will run from Fri. Oct 3 until midnight Sun Nov. 2  2008 . No entries will be accepted after this date.  Winners will be contacted no later than Fri Nov.7 by e-mail and or telephone. Prizes will be awarded at a later date to be confirmed when winners are notified.

7. Privacy: We use your personal contact information to administer contests,
including contacting, announcing and promoting prize winners. In addition,
we may use this information to send you offers or information from us, our
affiliates and from selected sponsors or advertisers (“Marketing Offers”).
If you do not wish to receive Marketing Offers, you may opt-out at any time
by: following the instructions at the bottom of any email Marketing Offer
you receive, informing your telemarketer at the time you are called with a
Marketing Offer, calling 705.726.0573 x303 and requesting that your personal
information not be used for Marketing Offers, or emailing fhaller@simcoe.com
and requesting that your personal information not be used for Marketing
Offers. Contests are run in compliance with the Metroland North Media
privacy code.

8. Banning: The sponsors may, in their sole discretion, prohibit any person
from entering any contest whom they believe to be abusing the rules. Such
abuse includes entering false information and entering more than once. If
you have been banned and wish to discuss the situation, please contact Fiona
Haller at 705.726.0573 x303.

9. Other: All decisions of the contest judge are final. Contests are
governed by the laws of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
The sponsors reserve the right to cancel or modify any contest or the
contest rules at any time without notice. All prizes must be accepted as
awarded, are non-transferable and are not convertible to cash.

The sponsors reserve the right to substitute any prize or portion of the
prize with a prize of equal or greater value. All prizes are awarded as-is
and no warranties or guarantees are implied or expressed, beyond the
standard manufacturer's warranty. Sponsors are not liable for any lost or
stolen entries or inability to process entries, or any errors, damage or
negligence that may arise in connection with this contest, including
technical failures on the part of contest software, virus, website
down-time, human error or property damage incurred by any contest entrant.
