Rules & Regulations:
1. No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. The act of entering the Contest constitutes acceptance of the Contest Rules and the decisions of the Contest judge(s).
2. Sponsors: The Contest sponsor is Metroland North Media, a division Metroland Media Group Ltd.
3. How to Enter & Eligibility: Enter your photo of your pet by 5 pm, October 17th, 2008. Public voting will open October 18th and will close at 5 pm, October 28th, 2008. The Contest is open only to those who receive either the Barrie Advance or Innisfil Journal except employees and immediate family members (and/or persons domiciled with) of Metroland Media Group. Only 1 entry per animal.
4. There are three 1rst place prizes, one for each category [dog, cat, other]. Prizes are yet to be determined. Winners will be notified Wednesday October 29th, 2008. Winning entries will appear in the October 30th editions of the Barrie Advance and Innisfil Journal.
5. General: The odds of winning depend on the number of votes received during the relevant Contest period. All decisions of the Contest judges are final. The Contest is governed by the laws of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Metroland reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or modify the Contest or the Contest Rules at any time without notice. All prizes must be accepted as awarded, are non-transferable and are not convertible to cash. Metroland reserves the right to substitute any prize with a prize of equal or greater value. Metroland is not responsible for lost or misdirected entries. The winning entries will be selected at 5.00 pm October 28th at The Barrie Advance.
